New AODES Snowcross 2026–2027 snowmobiles: inline triples, a 174 hp turbo version and a new affordable 800 cm³ model
The 2026–2027 winter season promises to be exciting and active, as the AODES snowmobile lineup is adding long-awaited new models.
The main event is the arrival of the all-new AODES Snowcross 900 snowmobiles, powered by an inline three-cylinder engine from AODES engineers. The lineup also adds the new Snowcross 800 with an 800 cm³ V-twin engine and an updated rear suspension for the SWT versions.
The inline three-cylinder engine is AODES’s novelty of the 2026 season.
For the first time, the AODES range includes snowmobiles with an 899 cm³ inline three-cylinder four-stroke engine.
Two powertrain versions will be available:
naturally aspirated engine, 82 hp;
turbocharged engine, 174 hp.
Both versions are liquid-cooled, with electronic EFI fuel injection, a 42-liter fuel tank and a CVT transmission with H, L, R and N modes.

Naturally aspirated models will be available with an A-arm suspension, as well as LTS versions with a telescopic suspension for use in forests and rough terrain.

New SC suspension for deep snow
The rear suspension of the SC snowmobiles deserves special attention. It will be fitted to all SWT models with an A-arm front suspension.
The design was developed specifically for use in deep, loose snow and includes:
- long-travel rear suspension;
- spring-loaded rear carriage;
- larger 185 mm drive sprocket;
- increased lug height — 44 mm
- higher ground clearance — 191 mm
This configuration improves traction and makes riding in loose snow easier.
More than a year of testing across Russia
The development of the new Snowcross snowmobile family was accompanied by a large-scale testing program. The official AODES distributor, MDV Group, together with AODES engineers, tested prototypes of the new snowmobiles in Sheregesh, the Murmansk Region, Priiskovoy, on the Karelian Isthmus and in other regions of Russia.
The total mileage of the test snowmobiles exceeded 5,000 kilometers. After the test program was completed, the vehicles remained fully functional and ready for further use.
The new Snowcross lineup will be the biggest update to the AODES snowmobile range in recent years and will offer buyers a wide choice between naturally aspirated and turbocharged engines, A-arm and telescopic suspensions, and various track options for any operating conditions.
